In 1990, Chino Suarez of Michoacan, Mexico, realized his dream of opening a restaurant that served food he would be proud to server his family and friends. That is when San Marcos Mexican Restaurant was founded in Meridian, MS. Since then San Marcos Mexican Restaurant has been a pioneer in full service Mexican casual dining. San Marcos Mexican Restaurant focuses on using fresh, high-quality ingredients to prepare made-from-scratch Mexican cuisine. San Marcos Mexican Restaurant started out in a small location when we opened up in 1992, since then we have expanded and opened our current location in 2000.
